Peter Dansky is a biotechnology executive with forty years of leadership experience in general management, marketing, product development, and sales within the life sciences sector. He has a proven track record of building, growing, and monetizing life science businesses.

Most recently, Pete served as President of Clinical Genomics at Mesa Labs from 2021 – 2023, where played a key role in the integration of Agena Bioscience into its acquirer. As CEO and Board Director of Agena Bioscience from 2014 – 2021, he led the company to a $300M sale to Mesa Labs. Pete also served as Board Director for Verogen Inc. from 2017 – 2022, contributing to its $150M sale to Qiagen.

Pete has also held leadership roles at iGenomX, at Life Technologies’ Molecular & Cell Biology and Molecular Biology Systems divisions and at Applied Biosystems’ Molecular Biology Division and its PCR and Consumables businesses. He’s held leadership roles in marketing, sales, and R&D at Arcturus Bioscience, Affymetrix, Molecular Dynamics, PerSeptive Biosystems, and Millipore.

Pete holds an M.B.A. from Boston College and M.S. and B.S. degrees in chemical engineering from Tufts University.
